Ingredients
  1. ½ cup sugar ½ cup powdered milk
  2. ¼ cup powdered non-dairy creamer
  3. ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  4. 3 tablespoons instant coffee granules
  5. ¼ teaspoon allspice 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
At home
  1. Combine all of the ingredients together. Store in an airtight container.
In camp
  1. Add 3 tablespoons of mix to ¾ cup boiling water.
  2. Stir and enjoy.

Ingredients
  1. 1 oz nut butter of choice
  2. 1 T honey (1 packet)
  3. 2 T granola of choice
  4. 1 large flour tortilla
At home
  1. Pack the granola in a small bag and tuck in with your other food items
On the trail
  1. Spread the nut butter on the tortilla, drizzle the honey on to.
  2. Sprinkle with the granola and roll up.
  3. Enjoy!
Notes
  1. You can often find the nut butters and honey in single serving packs for no mess packing.

Ingredients
  1. 2 cups almond flour
  2. 4 large eggs
  3. 2 packets of energy gels (use your favorite flavor)
  4. ½ teaspoon baking soda
  5. 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  6. Optional: Add some berries or nuts
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine almond flour and baking soda.
  2. In a large bowl combine eggs, energy gels and vinegar.
  3. Stir dry ingredients into wet, mixing until combined.
  4. Scoop batter into lined muffin pan.
  5. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes, until slightly browned around the edges.
  6. Cool in the pan for ½ hour.
Notes
  1. These muffins are made with just 5 ingredients and contain about 9 grams of protein per serving.
  2. The muffins are easy to make and are great to grab while you are on the go.
  3. Your favorite energy gel can be used as a replacement for the sugar listed in this recipe.

Ingredients
  1. 6 oz small pasta shapes (less than 7 min. cooking time)
  2. 1 T diced dried shallots or onions
  3. 3⁄8 t red pepper flakes
  4. 3 1⁄2 oz pouch chicken breast
  5. 1 pkt justin's peanut butter
  6. 1⁄2 T lower sodium soy sauce
  7. 1 t sesame oil
  8. 1 T rice vinegar
  9. 1 T chopped peanuts
  10. 2 1⁄2 c water
Instructions
  1. At home;
  2. Pack the pasta, shallots and red pepper flakes in a large zip top bag.
  3. In a leak-proof bottle put the soy sauce, sesame oil and vinegar.
  4. Pack the chicken and peanut butter packets with everything.
  5. In camp;
  6. Bring 4 cups of the water to a boil in a 2 Liter pot, add in the pasta bag and cook for time on pasta package. Drain carefully.
  7. Meanwhile, in a new sandwich bag or a clean mug add 1-cup cool water to the peanut butter along withe sauce ingredients.
  8. Seal tightly and shake until mixed up or stir till blended with a spoon.
  9. Toss the hot pasta with the sauce; add in the chicken and the nuts.
  10. Heat over low heat till just bubbling.
